Site-Based Council Site-Based Council, or the Site-Based Shared Decision-Making Advisory Council (SBSDM), is a group of people from LACS and its extended community that meet regularly (usually twice a month) to identify problems, define goals, and vote on measures to raise student achievement and safety.
Who are the members? The Site-Based Council at LACS is made up of teachers, staff, students, parents/caregivers, the principal, and community members. Our members represent the diverse makeup of the school community.
What do we do? The Site Based Council develops goals for purposes of improving LACS. They vote on various proposals to improve our school and to better serve our students.
