The two facilities bond propositions will go to the public
for approval on March 6, 2007. The voting polls are open noon
to 9:00 p.m.
These propositions authorize investments in our school facilities
and enhance programs for our children. They are designed to
address the following needs:
- Renovation and Preservation of Facilities - to address
aging facilities and maintain our large physical plant:
16 buildings, one million+ square feet of facilities,
$175 million of building replacement value.
- Safety and Security - to maintain a safe and healthy
learning environment:
- ADA compliance
- enhance playground safety
- main office reconfiguration
- Changing Program Needs - address changes in educational
program needs over time:
