Diana Son is a playwright who loves to teach.
Her play, BOY was produced at La Jolla Playhouse directed by Tony-nominated
director Michael Greif (Rent). Her play Stop Kiss was a commission
from Amblin-Dreamworks/Playwrights Horizons and had staged readings
at the Mark Taper Forum in LA in March and at the Public Theatre
in NY in April. Fishes was produced by New Georges in NYC and
by People's Light and Theater Company in Philadelphia. R.A.W.
("Cause I'm a Woman") is published in the anthologies
"Take Ten: New Ten-Minute Plays" by Vintage Press and
"Contemporary Plays by Women of Color" by Rautledge
Press. She works with the 52nd Street Project in NYC creating
original theatre with kids from the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood
and teaches a playwriting workshop "Writing Fearlessly"
through New Georges. She is a member of New Dramatists and lives
in New York City.
