Indian Trails in the Town of Caroline

There were two main Indian Trails in the Town of Caroline:

1. The Owego-Dryden-Onondaga Trail near Shindagin Valley
2. A portion of the Iroquois Warriors' Trail which crossed Six Mile Creek

This bent tree was used to point travelers along the trail.

This historical marker can be found near Caroline School on Route 79.
