ICSD Instructional Technology
Roger Sevilla began working at Ithaca High School in 1990 as a Technology Education teacher. He taught courses focusing on graphics, audio and video communications, and computer drafting and design. Since 1995, he has been working for the district in a variety of positions centered on technology staff development. He is currently the district Technology Integration Teacher.
Roger works closely with the district Technology Mentor group, facilitating their work and providing leadership when necessary. The Technology Mentor group, our TST Model Schools trainer, Aaron Dickerson, and Roger will be providing training and follow up support for teachers as they continue to integrate technology into their curriculum. Roger will also be working with many of you through your building level technology committees as you design and implement plans specific to your school.
Roger's office is in the ICSD Professional Development Center (PDC) located in room F33 at Ithaca High School. The PCD is a space for district-wide training and will be equipped with new and emerging technologies, which all ICSD staff can access. The PDC is an exciting resource that enables us to research, design, explore, evaluate and collaborate in a creative environment. As we continue to plan and deliver many workshops and trainings, both in and out of the PDC, Roger is confident that you will find many interesting and engaging opportunities for technology training and professional development.
