Link Crew is coordinated at Ithaca High School by Kelly Metzler,English teacher,
and Judy Cogan, Art teacher. Here is a little information about them:

Judy Cogan:
Judy has been teaching for 21 years, much of the time in the Ithaca City School District. The majority of her teaching career has been in the high school, where she feels most at home. She teaches Photography, Studio Art, Ceramics and other art courses as needed. She has worked on the 9th Grade Initiative for many years. Her work with this team convinced her that more needed to be done to help freshmen find success in their transition into high school, so she went looking for a program to bring to I.H.S. Link Crew was the solution. She attended training to become one of the coordinators and started the work of building a program. Link Crew is in its second year now, and is continuing to grow and become a more familiar element of the high school culture.In addition to teaching, Judy is a working artist, often exhibiting her paintings and photography at local galleries. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and riding motorcycles.

Kelly Metzler:
Kelly has been teaching in Ithaca since 1999, after teaching English in South America for a few years. She is primarily a 9th-grade English teacher, a perfect place to help welcome incoming freshmen to the high school experience. She is also a member of the AVID site team, a program helping students succeed as the first in their families to attend college. In addition to working with the 9th Grade Initiative for two years, Kelly eagerly joined the coordination team for Link Crew, seeing immediate, positive results in her classroom in regards to participation and positivity. Outside of the high school, Kelly spends time with her family and reads extensively.
