Where do our students come from?
Current information and activities
Soon after you arrive, go to the District Offices on Lake Street in downtown Ithaca. They will make an appointment for your child to be screened at the appropriate school.
An ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher will determine if your child is a beginner, intermediate, or does not need ESL. This is not a "test", but a placement tool.
Your child will see the school nurse and parents may meet our Family Liason. You may take a tour of the school.
