The Plan

    We need financial help to make Jean’s Green a reality. We have estimated its cost at $40,000. Our plan is to break ground in July of this year, and have the playground ready for dedication by the opening of school next September. Therefore, we have kicked off the fundraising campaign, which we hope will conclude successfully by the third week in June of this year. To raise the necessary money, we are contacting as many Northeast School alumni as we can, as well as all teachers and principals who taught and retired from Northeast School.
    Please consider making a donation to the project. Any contribution will be appreciated. While you have this project before you, drop a check (made out to Northeast PTA) or cash in an envelope and mail it to Northeast PTA, c/oThe Jean’s Green Project, 425 Winthrop Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850. You may also want to jot down and send along a special memory of Jean’s tenure here at Northeast that we will compile into a book to give her at the dedication of the Green next fall.Memorialize a Loved One
