Library Lunchtime

Library Lunchtimes have been taking place in the Northeast Library since 1989. Community guests talk to students about their occupations and avocations. Students from all grades come to the library with their lunches from 11:30-12:10 to listen, ask questions, and learn from the lunchtime guest. Through the years, over 200 guests have shared their time and expertise with thousands of students. From artists to coaches, entomologists to sled dog trainers, writers to disk jockeys, Library Lunchtime guests have come from all walks of life to enchant us with their interests and talents.

Perhaps you have an interest you would like to share at a Library Lunchtime. Please call Karen Baum at 257-8648, or e-mail her at <kbaum@icsd.k12.ny.us> to volunteer.
