Niagara Falls

The Niagara Region is located in the north-west corner of New York state.   The region is bordered by the Niagara River, Lake Erie, and Ontario, Canada to the west and Lake Ontario, to the north.  It is bordered by the Finger Lakes Region to the east.  The Niagara Region,  together with the  Chautauqua-Allegheny Region is also called Western New York.

Buffalo is the largest city in the Niagara Region.

Natural wonders in the region include the Niagara Falls and the Letchworth Gorge (sometimes called the Grand Canyon of the east).
